Freestyle Cruising on Norwegian Cruise Lines

Along with our welcome to the Port of Tampa to Norwegian Cruise Lines, we also celebrate their extraordinary Freestyle Cruising innovation. From accommodations to activities to dining, Norwegian cruise ships subscribe to the credo of absolute flexibility in cruise travel.

While a typical cruise complaint is about the weight gain brought on by the endless opportunities to eat from morning right through to midnight buffets, these cruise ships pioneered the concept of allowing passengers the opportunity to select when and where they’d like to dine; gone are the traditional assigned seatings and eating in shifts. Cruise passengers can now even enjoy a more casual dress code.  

In addition to the infinite number of menu selections in the main dining rooms, many Norwegian cruise ships offer an array of eateries featuring: sophisticated supper clubs and dinner shows, as well as separate restaurants that offer cuisine featuring: Asian Fusion, Gourmet French, Italian Trattorias, and Texas-style steakhouses.

Although these specialty feasts are not included in the cruise ticket price, they simply carry a nominal additional cover charge. Cruise passengers can actually relish a night out and have a little vacation from their vacation; and every minute is relaxing and schedule-free.
